Anecdotes by Artists offers an unfiltered look into the perfumer's process. Each collection is built with a different Perfumer, given complete creative liberty (no brief, no benchmarks, no boundaries) to create fragrances that tell a raw, personal story. A canvas for perfumers of all backgrounds, every collection will reveal a new artist, a new point of view, and a new way of creating.
What started as a 10 year old girl "borrowing" her mom's perfumes became a 26 year relationship with the beauty industry, and a lifelong obsession with the art of fragrance.
Over her career in beauty, Dana has worked alongside perfumers around the world, learning how a fragrance really gets made: the mods, the materials, the emotions, and the moments of instinct that turn a formula into something people can't stop wearing. Along the way, she noticed the category changing: stories and ingredients overlapping, safer juices made for mass likability, fragrances smelling alike.
That realization became Anecdotes by Artists: a brand dedicated to fragrance expression, with no traditional brief, no benchmarks, and no boundaries. Each collection is created by a different Perfumer Artist, free to tell the story they've always wanted to tell, through the ingredients only they would choose.

Our first Perfumer Artist is Patricia Choux, an acclaimed, Fifi Award-winning senior perfumer who trained at the prestigious ISIPCA school in Paris. Now based in NYC at renowned fragrance house MANE, she calls herself a "watercolorist" of scent and never reaches for the safe ch oice. Known for a daring style,
Choux has created fragrances for prestige and niche houses including Clive Christian, Jo Malone, Marc Jacobs, Carven, NEST, H enry Rose, Snif, Nomenclature and more.
With no brief or boundaries, Choux followed instinct over convention, layering precious, rare and unexpected ingredients into three distinct scents drawn from her own memories and emotions, each one inspired by a story you can feel.
